NetSpace - The Interactive Environment Protocol

In the same way that HTTP is a protocol for the stateless transfer of static documents, the NetSpace Transport Protocol (NSTP) is the protocol for stateful interaction with a dynamic environment. This could be anything from a collaborative workspace, to an MMORPG, and everything in between.

The site that was here, for the original version of this protocol, has been taken down, as the protocol didn't go nearly far enough, and thus needed a major overhaul (which it is currently undergoing).

NSTP is intended to replace HTTP as the primary means of interacting on the net. In fact, the concept of the "web browser" will eventually migrate into a more background role, as being simply part of your user interface — it simply pulls up data and represents it in the way you want; an intelligent interactive environment.
